Helmets & Safety Gear
Helmets & Safety Gear
We strongly advise the utilization of a fitting helmet each time you embark on your e-bike journey. We offer a selection of helmets tailored to diverse preferences.
A snug helmet is vital. Here are a few considerations to bear in mind.
Ensure your chosen helmet is accredited for use on e-bikes and the velocities they can attain.
Dimensions - Gauge the circumference of your head to determine the requisite size (this can differ across manufacturers).
Positioning - The helmet should rest evenly on your head, low on your forehead, maintaining a distance of one or two finger-widths from your eyebrow.
Side Straps - Align the sliders on both straps to fashion a "V" shape beneath and slightly ahead of the ears. Secure the slider if feasible.
Buckles - Align the left buckle beneath the chin. On numerous helmet designs, the straps can be manipulated from the rear of the helmet to elongate or contract the chin straps.
Chin Strap - Fasten your chin strap. Tauten the strap until it fits snugly, allowing no more than one or two fingers to slide under the strap.
Final Fitting Examination -
A. Does your helmet conform well? Sway your head from side to side, and up and down. The helmet should mirror your head's movements. If not, refer back to step 5 to tighten the chin strap.
B. Does your helmet tilt back beyond two fingers above the eyebrows? If so, undo the buckle and shorten the front strap by advancing the slider. Refasten and tighten the chin strap, and retest.
C. Does your helmet lean forward, obscuring your vision? If so, unbuckle and tighten the rear strap by retracting the slider towards the ear. Refasten and tighten the chin strap, and retest.
D. Roll the rubber band towards the buckle. All four straps must thread through the rubber band and be proximate to the buckle to prevent the buckle from sliding.
Safety Suggestions:
We advocate the consistent use of a helmet every time you cycle. Conduct a safety examination prior to each ride to ensure your bike is functioning optimally. For nocturnal rides or in conditions of limited visibility, we suggest donning reflective attire and equipping your e-bike with reflectors, a headlight, and taillight.
