XT600DL Fenders

i wish i never wasted an extra 75$ , i should just not ride when its WET

I purchased the fenders at the same time I bought the new bike. Fenders arrived a day after the bike. I was thrilled with the build quality of the XT600DL, as it is not only a beautiful machine, but seems solid and well built. However, the fenders did not impress me quite as much, as they appear to be ABS plastic and have very little rigidity. On my first ride with them installed, I hit a heavy bump and you could hear the plastic slap against the rear tire. I would have preferred a metal fender and would happily pay a little more for better quality. That said, on my first outing without the fenders installed, I hit some really wet grass and I was pelted with water. But, with the fenders installed, they prevented that problem. So, while not the best, they serve the intended function.

Front fender is great back one rubs against tire.
